How long do you want to ignore this user?
What's the best (cheapest) way to buy two tickets to Saturday's game? StubHub? Last time I remember (lost a few years of memories with the seizure salads) I had season tickets bought through Cal. I can't remember how I ever bought single game tickets.
Thanks

We had our friends walk up on game day. They got in with tickets someone just gave them. Of course this is not guaranteed.

Wow!!! Not sure the wife will go for that sort of a non plan. She usually wants a checklist.

She's my driver. Driving privileges were another casuality of the seizures.

As your doc., I prescribe long walks on damaged, poorly lit sidewalks, to and from the game.

Actually, my wife and I will do just that. For decades, we have parked on Fish Ranch and walked down to Top Dog and then back up to Memorial before the game. Then back up to the car after. No traffic at any time to and from Bay Point. We'll see if at ages 69 and 64 this is now many steps beyond crazy. Remember though, my wife and I for over 12 years have driven to SF many times per week to walk a dozen or more miles at a time there. They grow them tough in old West Pittsburg.

I used to do that walk with my 73 year old Dad from Fish Ranch when we had season tickets.
Take a break if you have to.
You'll be fine.

To answer your original question, I've used tickpick.com and seatgeek.com for tickets. Tickpick posts prices including any fees and seatgeek post prices either with or without fees (you determine with toggle selection). I just get them delivered to my phone.

Parking alternative if Fish Ranch Road is too much of a hike: On the Northside, there's restricted parking on game days the first few blocks but from Cedar St northwards, it's ok on game days. It may take a little driving around but we always find a spot - we've never had to park further north than Vine St. After day games, we head down to Triple Rock for beer/snack and then up to the car.

Be very careful about the sidewalks. I am serious. In the past I had to give away very nice flashlights to get in the gate. Phone lights are not enough, even though I have been walking those streets for well over five decades.

The northside is DARK at 11:00pm.

Thank you all. I appreciate the info. The walking shouldn't be a problem. The light...eh, maybe. We'll have two phones. I guess no flashlights or head band lights. That sort of sucks. The tickets...the story continues. I'm pretty pumped to go to a game. I may have been to one the last few years but I honestly don't remember much about the last few years. At least I didn't miss a Rose Bowl, right?

I did not know about tickpick.com. Good to know.

3 other ways:

1) Seatgeek.com
2) Stubhub.com
3) Direct from the Athletic Department ->> calbears.com --> tickets --> buy tickets --> football --> 2023 Single Game Tickets - Football

I would figure out where you want to sit and then compare prices across various sites.

I hope this isn't for me. A gracious Cal fan messaged and already gave me two tickets through the ticket exchange. Thank you in any case.

I've always printed my mobile tickets to a thing known as a printer. It's reminiscent of a fax machine . It comes out in a piece of paper with a code thingy on it. But that said I've gone to games for 40 years of dismal years so yeah. Given lots away

Thanks to bleedsbluengold1 for the free tickets. I had a wonderful night with my wife, you and your friends and dad, and the wife of the guy who holds the first down marker. (Talk about your eclectic group). After a two year forced hiatus from, well, a lot of things I was reminded of just how great attending a Cal football game in person is.
Can't thank you enough Russ.

It's late to say this, but FWIW, I have found a fairly consistent pattern that seat geek has the best prices when factoring in fees. But that's for Cal games this season. Stub hub seems to usually have the best prices for bay area MLB games.

I would give honorable mention to tik pick who can, on occasion, be better than both for both venues.
Vivid seats sucks, fees are too high, although they are sometimes okay for baseball tickets as well as are the actual ticket booths at the baseball parks.

The last place I would buy tickets, at least on line, is the Cal ticket website. Maybe ticket prices are better on game day at the stadium. I have not tried that.
