Thank Almighty Oski that Fresno State only out-ranks us in football.

From the graph, it looks like we at least win a tie-breaker against the Bulldogs on our proximity to Taco Bell.

Side-note: I haven't been to Taco Bell in over 30 years. Does anyone here want to offer a sincere endorsement for any of their current offerings?

1. The Pacifica location is amazing and serves alcohol so if you go there stoned, hungry and have enough to drink the cold weather and beauty will distract you from the fact you are eating at a Taco Bell.
2. Their nachos are better than that served at most baseball stadiums.
3. Taco Bell tacos are almost as good as Jack in the Box tacos, though at double the price.
4. I have not yet been desperate enough to try the "Austin style" breakfast tacos Pete Davidson (formerly of SNL) claims to have suggested in the commercials.

Their chips are way better than they have any business of being and I shamelessly enjoy them with a tiny cup of stadium cheese.

Tulsa has a Taco Bell 0.02 miles from the stadium? That's only 100 feet. It must be on the stadium grounds.

As for Taco Bell offerings, nothing is great, but I do like their chicken or steak power bowls as a reasonably healthy salad option. I'm a sucker for the nacho fries too, but if they aren't fresh and hot, they suck.

I admire your focus on (or at least attention to) somewhat "healthy" food, but if I'm ever going back to Taco Bell, Jack-in-the-Box or (forgive me!) Top Dog, it's certainly not going to be with heathy food in mind ....

All I care about is the best-tasting grub!

So what if it's not "real Mexican food" as in a real Mexican restaurant. It is what it is, perhaps a sub-set of Mexican food. I like it for what it is but most importantly it has Pepsi, much superior in my totally biased opinion to the Coke served nearly everywhere else. And contrary to all the comedic references in popular media to the aftereffects it's never given me the runs. If we're going to get nit-picky here most of the Chinese food in the country is Chinese-American food which may not reflect what is eaten in China.

Coke vs. Pepsi?!? Especially with this being a BYE week, I think you just assured that this thread is going to get towards 10 pages.

Hey, Pepsi is better when it is drunk from a can, ice cold, but with ice, especially from a glass, Coke is much better.

The food is fine....Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut are all owned by the same company. You've probably seen the combo restaurants (below).

For me, all three have the same thing in common: I clamor for their food once or twice a year. (Pizza Hut is the best fast food pizza chain, KFC is the best chicken fast food chain, Taco Bell is the best Mexican fast food chain.) I get the food. I enjoy the food. But hours later, I think to myself, "eh, the food wasn't that great. It's kinda overrated." The food doesn't make me sick or anything. I just get hyped up to eat there, only to end up kind of disappointed.

If you're going to order, order through the app. They offer all kinds of deals.

(Side note: Last Saturday, I ordered Pizza Hut for the first time in a year, through the app. Afterwards, I took a screenshot of the copleted order. Then, 30 minutes later, I arrived to pick up the pizza. I waited 20 minutes for my name to show up on the screen. I asked the counter guy. They have no record of me ordering a pizza. I look at the app. There is no record of me ordering something, even though I took a screenshot of the completed order. Then I check my email and see there's a message that they were unable to process my order. No reason given. I later looked at my credit card. They charged it. Then refunded me. Anyways, that was annoying. I ended up getting a burrito next door.)

The Mexican pizza is Taco Bell's Mona Lisa. They killed it and there was a customer revolt. It sells out routinely after being brought back.

Good call - a lot of their speciality offerings give off stoned 13 year old mastermind vibes but the Mexican Pizza is a true fusion feat.

Now is the time to be pushing the administration for a commitment to Ta'meya (Fava Beans and Falafel), Shawerma, Kababs and Koila with a glass of Limoon and/or fresh fruit juices.

In case it wasn't clear, my post was tongue in cheek. I'm from L.A.: tacos are sacred. Taco Bell is an embarrassment, worse than Olive Garden. Taquerias and taco trucks are already fast, cheap and convenient and made with fresh ingredients with amazing flavors. I am surprised Taco Bell even tried to expand to Mexico but not surprised it was a huge flop. I also don't understand why anyone would eat at a McDonald's or Burger King, even if no In-On-Out or other better burger place were nearby (we have Internet on our mobile phones now).

Well my post was definitely not tongue in cheek, and 100% totally serious. Maybe given your stated sensibilities for taco authenticity, the grand tribunal of the People's Republic might lower your pelting punishment to cherry tomatoes, especially if you let them know that you switched to paper straws even before the plastic ban, and that you have never violated the Nuclear Free Berkeley Act of 1986.
