Anyone see her perform during her Cal tenure? I only recall seeing some bands on Sproul Plaza circa 81' like Greg Kihn Band and Country Joe.

Love listening to her play duets with Matthew Sweet - check out their under the covers albums, the 60s and 70s sound great to me, the 80s is not so great - but maybe all you older heads who love the 60s and 70s originals won't like the covers?



The other guitar playing with Matthew and Susie is Greg Leisz, who is a master on pedal steel and slide, you've probably enjoyed his work on many albums, prolific session and touring player.

I believe when she was at Cal, she was more into theater arts and stuff like that. Didn't start performing in rock until shortly after.

Around that time, on a Friday afternoon, I was walking on campus and there seemed to be quite a bit of music and activity in Lower Sproul, so I went down there. It was the Talking Heads. Free concert. It was insane.

She's terrific. And so is her brother who starred on Knight Rider and Baywatch.
