Didn't see this posted, but UW nabbed AD Pat Chun from WSU. B1G experience, overachieved at WSU. If we had fired Knowlton as we should have he would have been a good candidate.

The Oregon player's name is Pat Chung.
Chun's base salary for July 2024-June 2025 is $1.3 million, adding $100K each year through 2029, where, under this deal, it will top out at $1.7 million. By contrast, his 2021 extension at WSU paid him $700K base with $50K/year raises.

Wow. They are going to pay him as much as we pay Knowlton! I guess we set the market.
But a shorter contract.
He's gonna earn every penny. While this is the culture DeBoer instilled, Fisch doesn't exactly have a spotless track record in this area either.

anybody notice Chun left WSU right before the news on a $100 million operating deficit in the athletic department leaked (some of the deficit is stuff out the AD's control, but...)
