Meh. Players always react strong to new jerseys in videos like these. I'd bet good money it's a relatively minor change (mostly, a new striping pattern).

They have some new items on cal bears official.
Most of them have either the big C with the bear silhouette or simply "golden bears".
I strongly suspect the jersey change is going to be to swap out the "cal" on the front to either "golden bears" or the C with the bear silhouette. Also expecting a different font on the numbers.

Maybe I'm just old, but I don't care about jerseys. What I appreciated is seeing the Cal players looking like kids in a candy store. They were so excited and stoked. That was worth the price of admission, for me.

Continue representing the university proudly and with passion, young men! Go Bears!

i wouldn't correlate level of excitement in a social media post to how drastic the changes are.

A burner account already showed some potential mockups from the College Football 25 game, and I wouldn't expect anything crazy different...other than traditional stripes replacing the sather stripe. Maybe block numbers?

Given how every other school has been going back to a classic redesign, I expect ours to follow suit. but I am looking forward to the 2024 design

The good thing about the giant "B" on the helmet is that it can stand for either "Bears", or "Berkeley". You don't like one, go with the other. Fans are free to create their own individual narrative!

Personally, I see it as a message to the opponents, as in "You about to lose, b _ _ _ _ _ s!".
