OAK has been "the official airport of Cal Athletics" for many years. They (OAK/Cal) haven't promoted it much. There were a handful of specific parking places with Cal logos painted in them the main lot near the front. These would be for AD staff to park in when traveling. I have only been to their airport once when my flight was diverted from Oakland due to high winds. When we arrived in San Jose, the pilot said we were going back to Oakland and did.CalBearinLA said:

Yes, back in the Bay and saw it several times yesterday and today whike watching the Okympics. It's an Oakland Airport ad, but featuring Cal Olympic athletes.
It would be great if a similar one features Cal football and basketball this Fall.
