Saw some chatter on X about season ticket holders getting an email with a link to free tickets to the San Diego State game. I am a season ticket holder but did NOT get such an email. Did anyone on BI get one? Curious about which STH demo might have gotten it if limited.

If this is true, and someone is not planning to use the free tickets, I would love to get two tickets for my wife and I.

I did not get an email but I also didn't get other emails I was supposed to get.

Starting to wonder if the digital marketing team's processes or software or something is glitching again (as may have happened in the past where, for example, various of us suddenly didn't get Knowlton's notes for a while and various people on these boards were speculating that they had been personally removed.)

We got it. Email is titled "Welcome in the 2024 Cal Football Season!" sent 8/21.

I didn't get a notice. Do you have to be at a particular donor level?

another knowlton/markeisha **** up in failing to grow the cal fanbase, give rich donors 25+ tixs but don't give poor as **** students FREE tixs

there are gonna be tens of thousands of empty seats for the season opener vs uc davis, apparently chancellor lyons hasn't run the numbers yet & figured out that tarps are never gonna give a single dollah to berkeley

Has anyone actually been able to officially claim and receive the free tickets for the San Diego State game? No promo code was provided, and the 'click here' link didn't open a page where we could claim free tickets. For the Davis game, a different promo was offered a day or 2 before the game that included a promo code to enter, and for that game, the link worked and once you entered the promo code, you could select tickets . I didn't need extras for that game, but at least the link worked. No such luck yet for SDSU.

Free tickets for Cal students but also offer free tickets to the over 100,000 community college students in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco counties who may become future Cal students/and or fans as well as the 40,000 students at SF State and Cal State East Bay who have no football team of their own but we should invite to root for the California public school flagship team.

To prevent resale, the ticket holder must present student ID at the gate.

At least until the stadium is full and we need to raise ticket prices, at least for select games initially.

The AD and the Chancellor's Office need to pull out all the stops to get CMS filled on Saturday night. We've got two prime ESPN slots in a row. Coming off a huge win. Time to make CMS the place to be on Saturday night. Start with tickets to all students, hit the high school teams in the East Bay, youth groups, your football leagues. Butts in seats for this game are the name of the game

Huge opportunity for the program with the added visibility in the ACC and the Auburn win putting us back in the picture. Also, solid prospects for Gameday in the Bay against the Canes if we deliver the next two weeks!

The AD needs to start preparing for a Gameday campaign, putting some footage together from the Canes' last game against Snyder's team with the Russel White TD return and Ott as the current star RB, and the compelling story of an upstart program led by a gutsy young Cuban-American QB from Miami.

If anyone would like to share TWO TICKETS to this Saturday's game, I would love to go!
