On defense they simply list 37 starters. Since I have to assume they aren't trying to fool poor Alabama A&M this weekend, I guess we can deduce they really don't want Wilcox to know who they're playing. Or something.

I expect Cal will do something similar, which is why any depth chart will more likely feature more Ors than our crew teams.

Why doesnt everyone just stop the charade and stop producing this? Who does it benefit wasting everyone's time to create or read it.

Plus in most cases, especially mediocre teams like ours and worse, it doesn't even matter who starts.

Though, I agree with you. Depth charts and speculation thereof provides content for college-football starved people.

Personally, I'd much rather get rid of media polls prior to October, but it will never happen. It provides too much content, money and generated interest.
