They are horrible…
Well that is exactly what they are doing right now anywaysycasey said:
It would be super hilarious if they just went out and sucked this year after all the complaining about being too good for the ACC.

just tuned in. Those that watched the game, is BC good? Or FSU just sucks?
Can we hope for a complete collapse (like Cal in the second half of 2007) for FSU?

also a side benefit, hoping that our matchup will bring in less FSU fans and thus make it a less hostile environment?

Here's to hoping that we are the one who triggers Norvell to lose his job (not before) then. Hopefully the players completely tune out. We somehow always was people's "get right" game after they lose their way. Notre Dame 2022 comes to mind…bearsandgiants said:TedfordTheGreat said:

FSU d line got exposed and team lost its cool. bc is a good team and very well coached, with good lines and a great qb. Envious, tbh

Also, a side benefit. With FSU coming into the game at 1-2 (at best), it will probably not be a national broadcast. So if Cal does get blitzed, it will be in the relatively hidden confines of the ACC network.TedfordTheGreat said:

I didn't think when they were planning on sabotaging the conference, that they would sabotage themselves at the same time.sycasey said:

Really? We got no pressure on the UCD qbStrykur said:
At least against UC Davis our defensive front looked alright, the question is can our OL do their part in 3 weeks

Cal needs somebody who can do more with less:
Somebody please forward the name of the BC coach to Knowlton's successor.
That's Bill O'Brien who is hardly an unknown in coaching circles.Big C said:bearsandgiants said:TedfordTheGreat said:

O'Brien is a BC guy who took that job as a "labor of love", essentially. It's equivalent to Ron Rivera agreeing to become Cal's head coach.Anarchistbear said:Big C said:bearsandgiants said:TedfordTheGreat said:

He was an offensive coordinator with the New England Patriots and Alabama and Head Coach at Penn State and the Houston Texans and, no, Knowlton probably hasn't heard the name
UC Davis for whatever reason kept trying to run right at us at times and our interior line held up well on those plays.SBGold said:Really? We got no pressure on the UCD qbStrykur said:

Bill O'Brien was born in Boston, grew up in the area, and coached around the ACC before heading to the NFL, so he was quite familiar with the job before taking it on.ColoradoBear said:***? Ron Rivera was an all American football player at Cal, played in the NFL with a super bowl title and coached the Panthers in the Super Bowl and won 2 NFL coach of the year awards.
Bill O'Brien is a nobody compared to Ron Rivera.
