Seriously, Cal football would be much worse without the efforts of Sebastabear.

I'm naming my son Sebasta. He was born years ago so it's a lot of paperwork but I'm insisting on it

Maybe there could be a video monitor where there's a quick montage about the creation of Calegends, then he's watching the NIL rolling in and making a post about it here!

I wish this site had a better "ignore" function, because I don't see his posts unless I click on them but all of the repetitive threads he starts still show up on the feed. Did I need a 12th reminder that Cal hasn't hosted GameDay and turned it down? No thanks, bud

You all are too kind. I'm just a facilitator. Benji and Marshall and of course our donors are the heroes. Doesn't happen without them.

But this was our proof of concept game. A few key folks gave significantly when this was just an idea. We're starting to see their faith rewarded. Now we need everyone else to pile in. Could literally be unstoppable if we had anything like Auburn's NIL budget.

By the way, I think we are going to auction off one of the gold Cal football helmets from yesterday's game to commemorate the awesome victory over Auburn. Will get the final score stenciled on there and the players to sign it. All proceeds of course going to California Legends. May even throw in a couple of sideline passes for an upcoming game.

I know people generally don't want "stuff" but these new helmets look pretty cool and commemorating the Auburn win will be an amazing addition to any Cal memorabilia collection for you or a loved one (someone suggested we find a way to get a helmet and sell it and we have).

Fair warning though, if people don't bid enough in my completely subjective opinion I'm just going to come over the top and outbid you. So don't think you're picking this up for $500 or something. I want people to show the love and support the program. It's not what is the helmet "worth". People seem to get confused about that all the time with respect to the charity items. The helmet is rather a token of appreciation for a donor who is willing to come in and support the collective with meaningful money. Dig deep.

Hopefully get this launched tomorrow. Would like to do it today but apparently there's this thing called "days off" that I haven't personally mastered so I can't really get all my partners lined up until tomorrow. Tuesday at the latest.

If you click on the profile picture next to a user's name you get a drop down list. Click ignore and then you can select a time length or choose 'manual' where they're automatically ignored until/unless you undo it. You can still see threads they've created and their posts but you have to click their name for their posts to appear

up to speed on basic ignore function, but Feed concept, no, not so much; thanks anyway.
