I always thought Mason Starling had a lot of potential based on his recruiting tape, but he's been slowed by injuries until this year.

Great to see him make some nice grabs and contribute the way he can!

great seeing Mavin get a few big catches early too. Despite all the transfers in he's finding a way to stay relevant and get more looks. I don't know any insider details but it hasn't always looked easy for him, so its cool the hard work is paying off

Couldn't agree more. It's clear he's put in a ton of work on the field and in the weight room and has transformed himself mentally. Happy to see him starting to reach his potential and eager to see where his ceiling might be.

Agreed with everyone above. It was great to see Starling pull in three passes and gain some after catch yardage. Can't imagine how he felt making a difference on the field after all this time. Good luck Mason. Hope to see more of you going forward. Go Bears!
