There are other articles out there stirring the pot to see if other conferences that include Boise St. could get into the football playoff. Most say maybe, but only one team.

Buy none of them consider expanding the number of teams that get in. I think the FCS playoffs include something like twenty-four teams in their football playoffs, that include byes. I am not pushing for that but there is room for FBS playoffs to expand a bit.

As part of this discussion, you need to consider adding UNLV into a new Pac whatever. This is considered in this video, including the fact that the state of Nevada might require Nevada Reno to be included, as they consider UNLV and Nevada sort of a package deal. The new conference would include very desirable Boise St.

My interest in all of this, as I have mentioned for a long time, that I would love for Cal to play UNLV on a home and away basis, or close to that, as I'd love to travel to UNLV every other year, or close to that. UNLV plays football in the Raiders stadium

There are other new videos addressing this topic.

However, I am now much more happy about being in the ACC, especially given how difficult it is to leave it without paying huge penalties. But if it ever explodes, a movement to to the Mountain West/Pac whatever could be a good option for Cal to consider.
