Dunno. Probably.

I do know the Notre Dame and Auburn Cal tailgates were exorbitantly priced... in the $125-150 range.

I can certainly do some damage before a game, but $150 of damage? Granted a lot of people will value convenience and being with like-minded fans for some of that. Still..

In Auburn at least you could more or less walk up to any tailgate and have a decent conversation. FSU fans aren't as known for their hospitality so maybe the Cal tailgate looks better

Usually I'd say just walk around being friendly and someone will invite you to a tailgate. Honestly I buy some beer or something and scope out one that looks like it has great food then I walk up all cordial. There are pros and cons for this week. con is that FSU isn't known for being the nicest fans and they're down bad right now so they could be touchy. Pro is that they're down bad and some of the season ticket people could've given up on being hostile because it's not worth it and their season is already over. Also it's parent's weekend so there will be a lot of families so I'd expect a more welcoming atmosphere. I'm not going to the game this week but personally I'd say save your money from official tailgates, walk around, and take your chances. Have fun and Go Bears!

I'm not attending the game, but I might suggest 1) getting two cold six packs of FSU's favorite beer to bring to a FSU tailgate you want to be invited to join and 2) some favorite local sandwiches you buy and contribute to the party.

Any FSU fan have any suggestions for the type of beer and sandwich Cal fans can pick up to contribute to an FSU tailgate?

Here's an oldie but goodie that you might record with you to bring to the tailgate and say it's one of your favorite songs. Tallahassie Lassie. IT ROCKS. Might get people at the party to start dancing.

This is NOT funny to me, at all. I had family killed by Mao. would anyone find it funny if it were a Hitler, Mussolini, or Stalin shirt?

Yup. The 20th century was the bloodiest century of all the previous centuries combined.

Since when does a Cal fan pack a red shirt?

I think the dude on twitter is trolling. Since we're Cal he brought his Cal shirts and his red commie shirt. Ignore.

I get that. What I'm saying is it's NOT funny, at all. Mao and the CCP killed people who disagreed with them. Stalin, Mussolini, and Hitler did the same. Yet, no one would ever consider wearing a shirt bearing their image or think it'd be funny to include said shirt as part of a "joke." Why are they off-limits but Mao isn't? They're all mass-murderers, but somehow Mao's murders are forgiven? Why is that?

Hey man - I agree but that isn't stopping people waving around swastika flags in the US. Nothing seems to be off limits anymore. It's sad

Fair enough.
