They don't all stay there. I think Pat is staying for the game and God knows what he's doing. Davis is calling the game so he probably got a nap in and watched a **** ton of other games from the Gameday RV or something.

I'd be willing to bet Herbstreit, Des and Saban are already off to another game.

Many businesses were still closed in the early morning hours this past Saturday. People who were leaving Gameday were walking around waiting for shops to open at 10 am to buy some Cal gear. They could have made a killing if they opened an hour earlier.

Oh, yes, surprisingly clueless local businesses could have leaned into this. Had special hours and cleaned up. Vending tables at least. I called the student store because I wanted to buy gear, after the CGD, and, to my amazement, the clerk told there would be no special hours. Honestly?!!! I assumed they would have a presence.

What a statement from Reece!

Also, at the end of the Gameday show last Saturday, someone told the crowd that this was one of the greatest Gameday shows ever. I don't know if it was McAfee or Herbstreit and I know they probably make similar comments at every school. But we keep hearing about this after the fact which leads me to believe their comments are genuine.

Both Rece and McAfee had glowing things to say after Gameday. Rece said," I get asked all the time where is the best place to go and after today, I might tell them that it's where the whole damn world is Bear Territory.

McAfee then took over and said "I know it was a no sleep night for alot of you....I know you gotta study and change the world....but this morning you guys kicked ******* @$$ for us! Thank you so much."

I have the video that I took on my phone but not sure how to insert the video.
