Who are the other college football coaches that have been at their job for 8 years? And are any of them this horrible ?

Today's lowlights:
- 12 penalties for 110 yards
- An idiotic two point conversion in the first that forced us to chase points all game
- running down the clock instead of trying to score a TD so we kick the field goal with arguably the worst kicker in CFB

He's wasted what could be an amazing season. Fire Wilcox or we fade further into oblivion.

Insane that this p*ssy is still employed after 8 years of mediocrity.

Bad coaching has cost us all three of our losses. This team has played well enough to be in undefeated and with a legitimate shot at winning the ACC and getting a playoff spot. I've seen plenty of 3-3 teams that deserve to be 3-3. This is not one of them. So frustrating.

Mediocrity would be an improvement for Wilcox. His conference record in 7 1/2 years is 21 wins and 40 losses. That's much worse than mediocrity. It's absolutely horrible!

This team struggles so much doing the simple things!!! So of course try a 2 point conversion right away. Genius!. Especially on the road coming off a heartbreaking loss. Such a great decision from the leader of your team!

Watching this season, it's been painfully obvious that short yardage is one of our biggest weaknesses. Short, touch throws are Fernando's biggest weakness. Why on earth would we try a two point conversion when it is not necessary? That makes absolutely no sense and it shows a myriad of decision making flaws in Wilcox in what his supposed field of expertise is. He is a DC...no more. It's so obvious it's scary.

He wanted to show that he indeed is willing to take a risk. He doesn't get it.

On the offensive side, he doesn't get it is exactly right.

More like lack of a coach.
A lack of a coach is a unique form of bad coaching from the Head Coach.

Do folks not realize we don't have a special teams coach? The one coach who is required to know both teams better than anyone else because they have to know how to match up no matter who the other team puts on the field. And we don't even have one.

A good kicker would have Wilcox looking like a winner because we would be undefeated. A special teams coach would probably have us undefeated at this point.

I gave this stat in another thread…
The only other d1 coaches in at least year 8 with a lower win percentage are Mike Nue at Ball St and Creighton at Eastern Michigan.
They both make around 500k per year.
And unlike Wilcox they both have had a 10 win season and won a conference championship within the last 4 years.
