Hey beaverdreams, you seem pretty chill and reasonable. I have an honest question for you. Why is your fan base so toxic on twitter?

I get you guys got screwed. But like, seriously. You guys could've gotten the sympathy of everyone (which might've helped with the next realignment). But instead, some of you seem to want the entire football world to hate you guys. How is that helpful for your program?

I mean you guys can do what you want. But I feel like if the tables were reversed, if we had that many bad apples picking fights on twitter, the rest of our fan base would shut those people down cause it's just a terrible look and not productive at all.

I have no idea... I don't do twitter. So can't speak to what you're referring. What I DO know is fans are fanatical...you guys, any fan of any program really, had you gone through what we did, and continue to contend with, would have some folks that would spray vitriol anonymously on the internet too. And hopefully you understand, a few yahoos on twitter don't represent an entire fan base...most of us, like most of you, are just fans, guilty of worrying too much every weekend what a bunch of 18-22 year old college kids do on a gridiron.

People are people, fans are fans. So, while I don't excuse it, I understand it. College football is trying hard to leave small market programs behind, I do know that...and it doesn't feel good.
