I am sure that there is some sort of detailed published book indicating what a coach should do in making all sorts of football decisions in various situations. I think the rules it states are based upon past actual football statistics. Don't know the title of the book.

What does the book say about how to make a decision, very early in a football game, between kicking an extra point and getting one point after a touchdown versus trying to run or pass the ball into the end zone and, if successful, getting two points?
