I was happy to see the coaches have given Mendoza a shuttle pass and a side arm throw to get it out to the RB. That really shores up the one big weakness in his game. Right now, our offense should center around him.

But there were three defenders around the receiver at the 4 yard line. If we are going to force it anyway, why not force it to where a catch is a score?

Clearly the false start did not help, but from that point on we were pretty much playing for the FG. Won't matter if we just keep throwing downfield with Mendoza, but could haunt us if we play for a close game at the end.

Well NC State covered the play well, i think the playcall was based around the defense sitting in the end zone and you get a big tight end running into the end zone
