No TD for Goff. Gibbs has 2. It is always fun to watch a guy with 4.3 speed. Defenders often look like they are standing still as he runs by them.

Lions, too. Going for that field goal when he's been going for broke his entire career threw the team for a loop, caused the kicker to shank, and almost cost the Lions the game. It was a battle of turtles down the stretch, and who would turtle more, or less.

I don't know that Chicago really turtled, they just screwed it up at the end (penalty, sack, not calling timeout).

It looked like a letdown game for the Lions, they have had two straight blowouts vs middling teams and 10 straight wins, while for opponents like Chicago, the Lions are now a big target. So the Lions mailed it in and still managed to get the W.

They'll be up for their next two opponents, Packers and Bills.

Lions have a 1 game cushion vs the Vikings and Eagles, but they have a tougher remaining schedule with GB tonight, the Bills and Vikings, though all three games are in Detroit.

Great ending. Goff gutsy 19 yard completion late in 4th quarter drive. Campbell going for it on 4th down. Goff falling down as he hands off for the successful 4th down run. Lots packed in there. And Goff's Cinderella year continues.
