If only it were whether Wilcox was fired on the tarmac or before he got that far.
Pretty clear that Mendoza was the element keeping us playing at an even reasonably acceptable level for most of this season. Without him we are lost.

262/422 (62%) for 3,382 yards and 29 TDs. Not a great completion percentage, but he was productive and threw a good number of TDs.
In the live game reps we've seen this year, he doesn't look like the QB that has those stats. It seems like he's playing much worse than last year's numbers would predict.

Isn't it a coaches responsibility to make sure #2 is ready? Out of all positions, the #2 should be pretty darn ready considering (as per hr coaches) he is almost as good. As #1 and has had an entire season to practice?
