I just saw that 247sports has a new crystal ball pick in predicting that Justin Hasenheutl will flip to us on signing day. He's a 6-5 and 300lb OG out of Georgia (originally from Germany) who's currently committed to Georgia Tech. Landing him and a couple more guys like him would be a huge boost to the trenches and sorely needed. He's especially noted to be a mauler in the run game and having him and a healthy Vatikani next year could get the rushing attack back on track. It would also possibly help us hold onto JKS's commitment.
We'll see how it all goes down since NSD is this week but finger's crossed this staff can pull in a couple surprise wins like Justin. Off the top of my head he would be the highest rated OL commit in the Wilcox era. Ratings tend to be overrated and overblown but aren't entirely meaningless and it would still be a nice feather in our cap after a very mediocre season.
I'm sure this is all Sebasta's doing, we should probably hire him officially as our football GM like Luck down on the farm since he's already doing most of the work anyway just without the authority to make the necessary institutional changes that we all know are needed
