I want our program to win as much as anyone, but let's not forget that Tosh absolutely destroyed our program recruiting momentum trajectory with full intent when he did what he did. Sure, he probably had his reasons/motivations/feelings, but that doesn't erase the fact that he's one of the major reasons our program was almost relegated last year. Tosh ain't close to the only reason, but he was the guy who gave the first push of the boulder down the hill. He's cost the university hundreds of millions of dollars and the fanbase many years of frustration.

Odom was making $1.75 million at UNLV so let's assume that is the minimum they would pay Marion. I'd think someone would have to pay significantly more to get him to leave what could be an ideal situation taking over the MWC runner up with his offense already installed. He would be a hero to the players.

However, the fact UNLV named the WR coach as the interim indicates Marion is headed elsewhere. So if it is for more than $2 million we can safely assume it is not to be Cal's OC.

If he's successful at Purdue, he sets himself up for a B1G HC gig at $7M to $10M per year.

And given purdues performance this year will try to bring the top players at unlv with them. So expect a lot of their players to sit out?
