We wear Roger Theder era uniforms (and helmet) and duplicate that lack of success. (Remember that his best year was the one leading to a loss in the prestigious Garden State Bowl!)

I like the combo of yellow helmets and white jerseys aesthetically, but it's also not Cal. I prefer the helmets to be consistent and the uniform options to be only a white and then whatever your dark color is, but I'm old-school about uniforms.

Really, y'all got issues with the uniform combo's? This should be a concern if we ever become a winning program! II graduated from Cal in '76 and frankly I'm glad with have some style in the unit's, I'll be happy with the all whites if it meant that we would have a winning program!

Clear unis would probably tap into a whole new fan base and keep the place sold out. Would also elevate women's sports.

Exactly! I could care less about our uniform colors. We have some real issues, and that's not one of them.

Cal's official blue is not royal blue (though I love the look of the Joe Roth uniforms). The actual blue is named "Berkeley Blue," with pantone number 661 C and the gold is named "California Gold," with pantone number 137 C. (See, https://brand.berkeley.edu/visual-identity/colors/ .)

Sure loos a lot like Crayola yellow-orange, or just yellow.

For those whining about this subject matter, there are roughly 3,297 topics complaining about the current state of Cal football.

Put another way, don't effen open the topic.

Put yet another way, you guys must be fun at parties. Do you walk around the gathering in order to let other partygoers know what discussion topics are acceptable?

Yeah, IMO, I only like the gold helmets when they are a part of the Joe Roth uniform.

For all the people who say they don't care if we wear polka dots, whatever, if it would help us win: none of that is going to help us win, so we're discussing which uniforms we personally prefer.

For all the people who say we got much bigger problems than the unis: duh, doesn't mean we can't talk about them.

Polka dots? I like that. We could sponsor a colored dot on a specific player for a NIL donation. Mo money, mo money, mo money.

Gold helmets were a fun change-up, but somewhere along the way they became the default road uniform, which IMO is not our best look.
