Hadn't seen this posted yet. Can we assume Ott is staying? When do players need to declare for the draft?

I know this wasn't a successful season for Ott. He never fully recovered from the injury versus Davis and our play calling and O-line play didn't help him. Still, this young man is very talented and has had multiple chances to leave the Golden Bears for greener pastures.

He struggled this season and I wouldn't doubt he would leave like the dozens around the country who have. Just a great person from what I can tell.
Bring back bottled beer and cigars at CMS. Should get us back in the Rose Bowl!

Not sure the draft is a realistic option for him, given the poor season he just had. Transfer portal certainly is, though, so it's interesting that there's been no smoke on that front.

It could be something that his bad year has let to other teams not wanting to pay as much and Cal probably won't ask him to take a pay cut so financially it is worth sticking around a bit?
