I also found interesting the aggregation of certain fields of study
I checked my field of study (History) and saw that this field was NOT aggregated with any other field of study especially those that in my mind were natural co-fields of study such as Political Science and Sociology. As a student of history (B.A. & M.A.) I found myself getting heavily immersed in political science and sociology as they related to the period of history being studied

I eventually leveraged the study in these areas into a career in Law as one financially profitable career avenue available to me.

Perhaps a breakdown into related sub areas is too difficult with the data that was available

Nevertheless the info presented is very interesting
