UCLA is indeed ranked the No. 1 public school.





And UC Berkeley is ranked No. 6 in global universities, which makes it the No. 1 public school.

Here in Florida, Florida claims they're #1 academically. No idea where they pulled that rank from. I suppose it's like that toothpaste commercial- "4 out of 5 dentists choose Colgate!"

Maybe in their state, but as I mentioned here after they won the hoops title again, they are now at a 22% acceptance rate, which was us about 15 years ago.

The Wall Street Journal, which began ranking colleges in 2016, is all over the place.

In their 2024 ranking, University of Florida is No. 15 overall and the No. 1 highest-ranking public school.

UC Berkeley is No. 51 overall and the No. 11 highest-ranking public school.








In their 2025 ranking, University of Florida is No. 83 overall and the No. 34 highest-ranking public school.

UC Berkeley is No. 8 overall and the No. 1 highest-ranking public school.

It doesn't matter , we all know CAL is number 1.
