Saw the commercial promoting the NC-TCU. Belichick looks rough and heavy. Maybe his 20-yr-old GF should take a class on caring for the elderly. Can't wait to catch up with Dykes - my favorite carpet bagger!
Overall though, I'm feeling quite good about what I saw of our 2025 Cal Bears. The OL played awesome, our QB is amazing, and our D looks solid. Glad to see the DBs gel throughout the game. Masses got a 100-yd pick 6 take away by a BS call but ran back that interception for nearly another TD. This will be a special season!

UNC is a legit conference realignment rival of ours, so I'm ok with BB making the team irrelevant for the foreseeable future.
Wilcox is a jagoff but I have never seen a team as comprehensively inept as North Carolina tonight, and their coach is an all-time great

The great thing about our sched is that we get the toughest two teams, Louisville and SMU, very late in the season, when JKS and the receivers will have had plenty of reps together. Also @BC is later this month, so no potential frigid weather if it fell in November.

Louisville is not looking very impressive right now. They are losing 14-6 to James Madison in the 3rd quarter and are getting pushed around on the line of scrimmage.
Update: As soon as I posted the above and jinxed James Madison, Louisville completed a 64 yard TD pass and got the 2 point conversion, so it's 14-14 now.

Yeah, Louisville has rushed 24 times for 30 yards against a Sunbelt defense. It's giving me 2024 Cal flashbacks.
So it looks like SMU is the only potential ACC heavyweight on our schedule. If we put it all together this could be a memorable season...

This is the season where we can truly see whether Wilcox can convert the most favorable schedule in memory to the expected win count. Winning conference record and at least nine wins. We'll have a better idea of how it's going to go after Mini-soda.
So, is the acc the plus2b conference.
