Damn it's tempting! I could cycle on over, lock up at the stadium and go crazy in my Blue & Gold.

But now that I have ESPN+....

Might be a lazybones* and enjoy the four-pack of Paulaner in appropriate Weizenglaser in the comfort of my home. Hate to miss this great visiting band though...

*Discovered CartNarcs on YouTube. Hilarious!

Just because you have ESPN+ doesn't mean you'll get the game. You have to have a tv subscription. Can't cut the cord completely unfortunately.

Luckily I have it. ACC Network or whatever it's called is included, so I think I'm good for most games. Thx.

Maybe if dick head cops would have let me continue along Piedmont until Law Lot I wouldn't have missed the whole first quarter
I was 1/2 block away, instead I had to crawl all the way down Bancroft and go under the entire campus.

Sometimes we would park way up La Loma, even close to Del Mar depending on game day attendance. It's been way too long. We lived in Moraga, but lived on Summit Road in Berkeley till the late '60's , so would typically follow the old pattern from Fish Ranch Road and then thru the old neighborhood.

Nice win today.

GO BEARS!!

Lovely!!!

I had been visiting daughter at Durant and Fulton apt and head up Durant to cut across Piedmont to Optometry Lane.
Nope. Blocked.

All the back where I came from.
Sigh.

I dunno how long that pattern has been in place. It's been a long time since I drove there on game day.

You and me both. We did this routine back in the '70's and '80's. Not local anymore, but I still remember. Those were good times. Dad a Cal grad, Grandpa Professor Emeritus Bacteriology. me, LOL

Cheers my fellow CCC friend,

GO BEARS!!

I had the same problem. This year I'm parking in the Stadium Garage next to the stadium. It's terrible to get to before the game and leave from after the game, because Piedmont is closed to the south. So you have to go completely aroud the campus. Horribly inconvenient.

My dad got hosed, too.
One male Asian cop in front of I-house was a total jerk to me when I was trying to understand.
The female next to him was way nicer.

After the game I drove by them and got her attention from a shout. I told her she was a super nice person and that I am going to remember her, and thank you thank you. She was practically laughing and waved. Her partner finally turned around to realize the message.

Maybe he'll learn to be a better client facing cop.

Not if he's a Trump hire.
He'll be wearing a mask next week.

Appreciate everyone who showed up.. But particularly the students. I understand that the season passes sold out for the first time in years. Was so great to see. Go Bears!

Yeah.
I'm not personally Cal material.
But my heritage goes back to the aughts. And now I'm an honest to goodness Cal Dad!!
Does that earn me stripes yet???

Among the projects….
More BIG horns.

Tx Southern kicked our butts in the battle of the band.

I'm a band grandson, and I know a kid in the band. So I'm partial to band play.
I love our band!

But we get out horned often.

Is it an equipment issue, or a player issue.

I think we have too many woodwind players and not enough blasters - perhaps per musical arrangement preference, in which case I will defer to the musical director!

I'll be there to witness JKS's throwing a 50 yard bomb on his first play in his first home game at Cal! (Sorry, I probably beat this horse to death by now. But it will be awesome if it were to actually happen!)

Per ESPN, the attendance last week at Reser was 31,630. I hope we will top this. My prediction for tomorrow's attendance: >40k.

Let's go!!!

So no 50 yard bomb on the first play, but the seats did fill up a bit more after the game started. Supposedly the attendance was 35.8k. Student section was pretty full which was nice to see.
More of us better show up for the Minnesota game…

Why did you mention the race of the male cop? It has no bearing to your story.
