Well, will he?

It's why he's here, right?

What does mean though, make Rolovich the coach?

Oh shut up. Just because you can't think of a candidate doesn't mean that limp weasel shouldn't be replaced. CAL fans always pimping nobel prizes yet cant think beyond the length of their own nose,.

I'd take one of the cheerleaders or the waterboy.

They'd at least have more energy.

Basically, anyone would be better than the worst coach in college football.

Change would tell the players that Ron and Cal are taking football seriously.

You ****ing idiot Wilcox is out but who takes over, Rivera, Harsin, Rolovich, that is what I am wondering right now

As you can tell.

The players have quit on Wilcox.

It's not hard to see.

Move the goalposts along like usual, you fake ****. You literally just said "make Rolovich the coach?". It's not my fault you can't make words good.

Interim: Rivera head coach. Rolovich or better Troy Taylor OC.

This - we have a super bowl guy, and two former head coaches. We don't have to pay them anymore. Just don't let Wilcox in the locker room

I take it all back. Would take Ott and Jet back in a second ... These RBs are really bad. It's always 3rd and long. Put Bo

And we went back to the old brilliant game plan of running it into a brick wall between the tackles over and over again.

I've never seen a team quit on a coach like I did tonight.

Absolutely no point in not firing Wilcox tonight.

The players already did tonight. We'll see if Ron heard them.

In the early drive where we got down to the one, we just squandered the opportuiny, after that the team seemed tk just give up

I mean these guys fumble a lot and can barely catch. At least Ott would gain 2 yards without fuming and could catch.

And he kicked Wilcox's ass last year.

But now that I think about that. That's not saying much.

When a coach loses to Wilcox... they usually end up getting fired.

Which I find pretty funny.

But you forget that being "balanced" is more important than actually winning the game.

In all seriousness, I support running the ball the first drive. You need to see if you can just overpower a team like Sdsu.

But once you see it wasn't working, you have to change tack. But I feel like Harsin felt he could still play with his food and get away with it for awhile. Until things started to really snowball

F around and find out

Yup. Though to be fair . . . our receivers did not instill much confidence in the passing game either.

Did Ron earn his paycheck tonight?

Any news yet?

If Wilcox is still the coach after today.

Ron should turn in his keys.

Why so? Unimaginative play calling?

Just 24 hours ago I was reading about BI wanting to extend Wilcox' contract 3 years.

As I said after Tex Southern, you have to come out of the tunnel fired up to beat your opponent every game. Respect your opponent every week. You play all out until you earn the right to take the foot off the gas and experiment.

Texas Southern was the only opponent on our schedule (despite how light it is) to mess around and figure out some things, to go into any away game thinking you could half-ass it like a home game against an FCS opponent is asinine and would explain a few things but if that is really what happened tonight also confirms how idiotic and immature Wilcox is at understanding his opposition

It's something bigger than Wilcox or something wild happened between coaches and players or players and players. There are 4 head coaches in the program - someone would have fixed whatever needed to get fixed that could be fixed.

... Said by some guy who never played organized sports

I have been in some situations where a team is on a streak and thinks it's the real deal and then goes into a slate of games and understandably underperforms but I have never seen anything as absurd as tonight where the team gets blasted by a squad that on paper is no match

TT is worse. I don't want him anywhere near the program except as a donor. Wilcox has never finished 3-9; Taylor did it twice in two years.

Maybe Ron shouldn't have the keys.

It doesn't take a lot of skill to fire a horrible coach that killed the brand, the product and the program over the last 10 years.

But someone needs the keys.

I saw a clip of him standing post-game w SDSU coach, and he doesn't seem angry, frustrated, embarrassed, or in a hurry. Very odd
