I think that's been on the Cal Christmas list since the end of the Tedford years.
(That said, I still never wanted to see Cal fire Tedford. I always thought he deserved to resign on his own, even if he would never do it. He's the last Cal football coach I felt that way about.)

Wilcox is good at getting his teams to play down to the level of the other team but not so good at getting them to play up.
They almost don't look that interested.
