The California football program has added a new pregame and postgame show to its gameday lineup for the final four home games of the season.
“Cal Football Countdown” and “Cal Football Wrap-Up” will take place on Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza and be livestreamed on the official Cal Bears YouTube page, the Cal Football X account and at www.bearinsider.com.
“Cal Football Countdown” will begin two hours before kickoff and last one hour while “Cal Football Wrap-Up” will last 20 minutes following the conclusion of the game.
Both shows will be co-hosted by KNBR’s Greg Silver and former Cal star running back Patrick Laird (Cal radio sideline reporter Ben Ross will fill in for Laird for Saturday’s game against Duke).
Both shows will preview upcoming matchups, review the previous week, provide analysis and feature player and coach interviews.
