Absolutely not. LSU is a VERY different place than Cal. Our politics are very different. Academics matters. He was an LSU grad working at LSU because of his knowledge of LSU.

Besides, we don't need a big time AD, we have moved to a different model: Ron Rivera is the football GM and will hire the next football coach. We need to spend our money on the new football coach and especially NIL to retain Sagapolutele and surround him with good players.

We already have a GM of football. And it is not like LSU is killing it in the "Olympic Sports".

Yeah, the guy who fired Tyrone Willingham at the University of Washington and hired Steve Sarkisian and Chris Petersen and oversaw the reconstruction of Husky Stadium would have no idea how to handle a school like Cal.
