Slipped to 3-6 last week, dragging my season total to 47-45. Here's the link to last week: https://bearinsider.com/forums/2/topics/130381
Before awarding myself an 83 year extension on BI, here's this weeks picks in italics. Odds are for the home team.

Cal @ Louisville -19.5: Not expecting an upset, but enough of an effort for Cal the beat the spread.

SMU @ Boston College +11.5: Close call, but ponies find a way to cover.

Syracuse @ Miami -28.5: Canes are a mild breeze these days. They should win but not cover.

Duke @ UConn +9.5: Just a feeling that Duke covers.

Furd @ North Carolina -7.5: It won't be great football, but Tar Heels cover. They then tar and feather the Furd band.

Wake Forest @ Virginia -6.5: Cavaliers cover in what is a blow out for them.

FSU @ Clemson -1.5: Remember when this was going to be a climatic game? Taking Clemson to cover only because they're the home team.

Bye entertains NC State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Pitt.

The two of you above are putting in a very Wilcox-esque effort this season. A barely .500 record isn't going to cut it at Cal. Clearly your preparation each week is lacking. Step it up. The fans and donors are restless.

To be fair, they are doing a bit better than Wilcox. It's harder to predict whether Cal can beat the spread against cupcakes than actually beating the cupcakes
