We better lock Wilcox into another extension before he gets poached by Penn State, Florida, or LSU. If Brohm is worth keeping then clearly the coach that beat him is worth keeping as well

They're still 7-2, only other loss was in OT to UVA.

Their game against SMU next week will be the most interesting other game from our perspective, scouting SMU and also putting our win in perspective, which we will also see tonight when they play Clemson.

Yes he did seem to lay an egg. Pass heavy play calling when they're running back was gashing us. But everyone is human

It is like they didn't scout us either. Our run defense has been terrible, the teams that beat us just ran it down our throats and that was WITH Uluave healthy. Meanwhile we have great DBs. Masses has to be one of the nation's leaders in interceptions and got one against them.

Their AD may be following the Knowlton model, although that model ideally requires multiple seasons of bad coaching before the extension.

Some feel this cycle of coaches is not all that stellar if you are in the market for one. Some ADs might see hanging onto what you have a little longer to be a prudent option. But before you flame me on how this logic couldn't possibly apply to Cal and our situation, I am specifically looking at Louisville and their circumstances.
