I mean play action are also trick plays, i don't get this idea that running WR reverses or double pitches is more gimmicky than running back to back play action plays.

I don't have an exact number of the trick plays so far (5?) but at least 2 were to Adams and then the Mimi pass to King so it isn't all Dejsus!

And Rafael doesn't have the speed to bounce it outside like the Jet last year and a healthy Ott the year before.

Normally I like the go for it here, but after that last short yardage run, I kind of think pin them back might be a better call here.

play action is less risky because your quarterback holds the ball the entire time and we have a great qb that i trust.

reverses and double pitches tosses the ball into the air backwards and if dropped is a fumble (as seen by stanford's scote) they are running them because it preserves the ability to double pass.

if u want to run plays sideline to sideline u do a mahomes forward shovel pass that if dropped is an incomplete. they r tossing all these backwards pass because it gives the players the option to throw again (first quater trick play)
