I'm not saying he's not a great QB...but it has annoyed me endlessly that everybody (the announcers, Cal fans, national media, etc.) have constantly blown smoke up his a**. And he (or his social media) responds to the blowing of the smoke.
HE IS NOT A GOOD QUARTERBACK.
He is obviously very good, coaching is not up to snuff to maximize his potential
I has exceptional accuracy and a good cannon. He is immobile and slow. He checks down a bit too quickly. He is a frosh. Not the second coming of christ.

His main target is 5'6" and OL pass protection is hit-or-miss, with a decent OL and some beefy receivers, he would be a Heisman candidate
He saw the writing on the wall at Oregon that he would sit behind Dante Moore for a couple of seasons. His arm is strong and he is accurate. The WRs dropped so many balls early in the season and the OL did him no favors. I wonder how Fernando would have done if he had stayed at Cal.

Obviously having no idea, but JKS makes a lot of throws Mendoza cannot, and so the latter probably fares about the same or maybe even worse than JKS

You probably thought Mendoza sucked too last year before going to Indiana and winning a Heisman
Cal's receivers don't get separation from the defenders so JKS always has to throw into very tight windows and our offensive line is not good.

Other than Trond who has size only one receiver consistently gets separation but is only 5'6"

You're the same dude that thought Goff and Fernando were terrible. Talk about credibility
He's a highly talented but inexperienced quarterback.
His ceiling is as high as Rodgers and higher than Goff's.
We'd be incredibly blessed to keep him.
That being said, I got a feeling that a hungry Devin Brown or a gutsy EJ Camonong would have pulled this off on THIS specific night.

JKS is a true freshman playing under subpar coaching and alongside a subpar cast. Get ready to see him explode next season playing for a program that has its sh*t together.
