As they said during the broadcast "Both Luck and Rivera are GMs, but the roles are very different, Luck is involved in all aspects of the program including recruiting and coaching, even working with the quarterbacks, whereas Rivera's position is more administrative."

Luck is actually on the sidelines cheering his team hoarse while Ron just stands there with a stoic expression, mimicking his inept head coach

I guess BearInsider user-base functions to tear down old heroes?
Why would any hope to come back here to such adulation?

There's significant toxicity of complaints in these pages.

I've read people who call for Desean Jackson or Marshawn Lynch.
But I'd fully expect this crowd to divorce themselves of the fun memories we have with those playmakers should they ever take a role in team Leadership.

They'd be wise to be wary of such a role.

Tear down one and you tear down all.

Nobody in their right mind is concerned with the interweb gibberish from ten or twenty posters here.

I saw Rivera passionately arguing with a referee at one point.

It's certainly the Berkeley way to cruise on past successes while being inept in current roles. Who needs success when we have fans like you?

Lol, we do everything different than Stanford. That does say a lot. Ron did accompany Wilcox on the filed to mean mug the ref a couple of times. so there's that.

Ron's just here to collect a million dollar a year contract.

Why would he mess that up by firing the coach?
