Wonderful. Another cold night game where we get blown out. If Wilcox is still our head coach, I may not even go, in spite of the fact that I have season tickets.

I predict very low attendance for this one.

I am weird (old?)...and my friend has given us two free season tickets so we are going with her. I still enjoy everything about going except the actual game. That's why during the game I like to watch everything but the game, Wilcox's strange mannerisms especially. I've never seen a head coach checking his communications equipment or his notepad so many times...ever. And the guy hardly speaks to his players. I also find it entertaining (remember, weird) that he is quick on his duty of indicating a punt with the right arm vertical pumping motion. You would think his aloofness during the game has conditioned his team to completely ignore him during the game. He literally doesn't even get involved in the numerous offensive and defensive huddles during the endless number of tv timeouts.
The bear growl contest is another interesting thing to attend for except that my wife has cracked the code: littlest kid wins...unless they are completely mute because they are panicked into silence or crying. Good times one more time this year.

It is worth noting that even with such a mediocre season, Cal has received far better TV coverage than we got in the Pac-12: 8 out of 12 games on basic cable channels that everyone gets (ESPN or ESPN2).

I'm excited to see if we can have yet another 100 yard penalty game.
