Funny. I generated very similar lists using AI, which makes me wonder if that wasn't part of the process in generating this list. For what's worth, I think we move on from anyone on the current Cal staff.

Interesting list. Desean's name on there but not TT's or Tosh's name is fine but says something to me about HC experience vs name recognition v Cal connection by the author. Remind me why Rolovich likely rejected by boosters? His politics/rejection of the VAX? Harsin well respected in the building and key to JKS staying a big eye opener v how I keep hearing how he was chased out of previous stops and chased out our RB room, any explanations for that disconnect??

Yeah, but I like it because of listing some other names.
Tosh might be the hire, might be a good hire, but the "leading candidate" on fan boards always is someone who is "known" to people. Just because we can say "who" to a name doesn't make them a bad candidate.
Rivera knows more people in the profession than any of us could even list. Does it mean he will for sure be proven right in 5 years with this hire? Of course not, but there is absolutely the chance that he makes a hire that most of us barely know, or have very little knowledge about, and, for me personally, I am okay with that.
