I think on a per-person basis, if this gets amortized over the three or so dozen people who rushed the field, this would have to be the most expensive rushing-the-field penalty in history.

2) Their fans were likely keeping their travel days/funds in reserve for the ACC championship.

I thought they were all heavy hitters

My first Cal game in years. I didn't want to go but my wife insisted. I'm happy that she did so!

The offense was refreshing to watch. No sacks, not a lot of negative offensive plays including only one (?) false start IIRC.

Now that Wilcox is gone we'll never lose again!

I don't know how the hell THAT happened, but glad to cap off the regular season with such an exciting win!

we beat 2 ranked teams this season - that's pretty good for us.

Okay, so because we pulled this off, somehow 7-5 Duke gets to play for the ACC championship? And if they win that there's a chance the ACC could be out of the playoff entirely?

The conference really needs to review its tiebreaker rules. If there's a head-to-head result then you can go with that, but for a four-way tie you should probably select based on overall record or go by the CFP rankings or something. When playoff berths are involved the conference should put its best foot forward.
