The Bears picked up another commitment today, this one coming from Arizona cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew.
The 6-0/senior corner was at Arizona two years after starting out at Louisville then Texas A&M before transferring to Arizona in 2024.
As a redshirt soph in 2024, the newest Bear added 26 tackles, 1 TFL, a sack and 4 pass breakups for the Wildcats. As a redshirt junior, he had 7 tackles in limited duty.
Rated a high 4 star recruit and #12 cornerback in the country out of North Cobb High School in Georgia, Groves-Killebrew chose Texas A&M over Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Florida State and more.
He joins fellow DBs Kingston Lopa (Oregon) and Michael Hurst Jr along with offensive tackles Jimothy Lewis, Jacob Arop (South Dakota) and Mykeal Rabess (FIU), IOL Kahlee Tafai, running backs Adam Mohammed (UW), Carter Vargas (UC Davis) and Ashton Emory, receivers Chase Hendricks (Ohio) and Ian Strong (Rutgers), tight end Dorian Thomas, edge Solomon Williams, DL Justin Beadles (Louisville) and Ashun Shepphard (Miss St) in their 2026 transfer portal recruiting class.
