Damn, what a Hollywood script this could be.....

Broncos QBs coach/PGC Davis Webb called the Raiders earlier today to inform them he's withdrawing from consideration for their HC job. The Ravens and Giants have interest in him for their OC jobs, and Denver now has an opening, too, to promote him into that role.

This being said, while Nix is coming along nicely, the Broncos backup QB looked pretty bad against the Pats...

Stidham's start turned sour before the snow, toward the end of the first half when he tried to be a hero on a screen play that got blown up and handed NE its only TD. Basically gave the game away there.

Probably then Kubiak, with Tomlin as a possible advisor.

The TV numbers /interest for Tomlin are nice I hear

Given the $$$ at play, there should be some intensive vetting. Maybe not for Tomlin or RR, you know what you are getting.

You're probably talking to at least the GM and the Owner. If a team has other Senior leadership type roles (Presidents, heads of analytics, scouting etc.) maybe they're involved also. Star players may be part of the process as well. I could see that adding up to a lot of time. There's probably also just extra time spent on football scheme and philosophy that's the equivalent of a technical/practical interview component of another job.

I don't think Mendoza and the Indiana Hoosiers need Davis Webb in their Hollywood script. It's unbelievable as is.
