I've come to the conclusion. Cal is going to have to score a lot of points to win games. The defense just isn't very good.

Scoring just 24 points is not going to cut it. As well, the defense giving up close to 50 points is flat out horrible.

Cal was blown out by 3 TD's (21 points). I hate hearing Cal was close in the 4th quarter so there is hope. Well, the football game is 60 minutes long... not 45- 50 minutes long.

I don't see anything in the OC's and DC's post game interviews that says to me... Wow, they did figure it out!

Go Bears!

Poor conclusion. The offense just scored 14 points and we won.

That is a lot of points for our OC.

Maybe you should try watching the game.

Too funny.

Did I hear the announcers right that our kicker has never made a FG of 40+ yards? Um, that might be a problem

"I've come to the conclusion. Cal is going to have to score a lot of points to win games. The defense just isn't very good."

Then our offense scores 14 points and our defense dominates, and we win. Then you tell me I should watch games.

Lol.

His career longest make is from 32 yards.

In other words, if the line of scrimmage is outside the opponent's 15 yard line, the kick would be farther away than his career longest made FG.

It's indefensible that we don't have a more capable kicker than that. What happened to Tosh's recruiting chops?

The kicking stat is useless unless we know how many he's missed from 40+. Is he 0-0? 0-1? 0-2? 0-9?

He's 0-7 in his collegiate career from beyond 40, at least according to the ACC network.

Jesus, I could go 0-7 on those! Which of our kickers is this? Looks like we have two, one for reiability on not-too-long FGs; one for longer FGs and kick-offs... except they seem both equally subpar on the two tasks.

When we kicked off from the 50, it looked like our kicker put one out of the endzone that would have been a FG.

I'm still wrapping my head around McGough pronouncing his name "McGoo". It's his family name, so respect, but...

Yeah, I have no idea what's the story this year on Chase Meyer. I don't remember him being a huge liability last year (perfect on PAT for the year). But it doesn't look like he's doing PAT either. Not sure what's up with that. The Wagner game might be the time to give the true freshman a try.

i remember he missed at least one or two against sdsu which seemed like momentum killers, and missed a game winner @ va tech. pretty sure he had some other ones too
