Bizarre call. But per the letter of the rule, correct.

"A little bit of a challenging circumstance," Moore said, "but I understand what the rules view it as. Once the arm is moving, there's really no matter where the ball is going. There's protection (for the QB) there. Unfortunate outcome for us."

Now the roughing the passer call v Syracuse, that was horrible. As a pats fan I was ok with the tuck rule and considered it "Sugar Bear" payback.

This could be the sign of a good year for my college and NFL teams. In years past, I would have come out of this past weekend with two losses. Life is good (as long as AI permits it).

Well I don't know when they changed ball moving forward to arm moving (in any direction), but that's some pretty good BS. It was a fumble all the way and I do t care what any stupid rulebook says.
