So the new bill that will be voted on in the Senate will cap P4 leagues at 19, essentially ending conference re-allignment and expansion. To leave a conference, they will force that team to play independant for 5 years. If this passes long term hope to play with our old Pac friends in the Big 10 is officially over for good. Seems like a horrible overreach

Power 4 Conferences: The SEC, Big-10, ACC and the Big-12.

It used to be Power 5 with the Pac-12, but then our conference got blown up.

Ergo the Bill. The Pac blow up was just the beginning. Two conferences now want to take over college football and be in league with tv. Goodby to lower level football - there won't be the revenue for it.
