Slogging on through a dismal season. I went only 2-5 last week, dropping my season total to 34-50. But for the rest of the week my wife and I are having a romantic trip for our anniversary, so I have something pleasant to concentrate on. Anyway, here's the link to last week: https://bearinsider.com/forums/1/topics/137515
The usual for this week, odds are for the home team, my pick in italics.
Cal @ NCST +7: Bears figure the way they played in the first half against SMU is fun for the entire game. Cal beats the spread.
SMU @ Syracuse +9.5: Mustangs on the other hand figure the way they played against us in the second half is the way to go. SMU covers.
BC @ Duke -7: Not an easy one to call, but giving Duke home field advantage to cover.
Furd @ Louisville -22.5: Louisville wins, but spread feels too high.
Virginia @ Wake Forest -14: Since it's Halloween, it is appropriate that the Deacons really do turn into Demons. WF covers.
Clemson @ FSU -6: The "My seat is hotter than yours" coaches battle. Norvell gets third degree burns, Swinney an ice pack. Clemson beats the spread.
Miami @ NC +14.5: Canes have way too much firepower and easily cover.
Georgia Tech @ Pitt -7.5: Two teams in free fall. Pitt levels out just long enough to cover.
