Am watching the game on the east coast: anyone know what the number of the Direct TV channel is for CSNBA (California Sports Network Bay Area?).

Having the exact channel number helps in finding a bar where the game is on.

Thanks!

It's actually a "national" broadcast on the FSN network and should be on whatever local regional sports network is in your area (unless preempted). For example, in NYC, it will be on MSG+ (Ch. 635). You don't need the DirecTV sports pack to get CSNBA (which is 696). However, if you do have the sports pack, some 10-20 channels in the 600s will carry the game.

Doesn't look like it's on any of the Fox Sports channels on Time Warner Cable in San Diego. All other Pac-10 games are on in San Diego except Cal.

The UT says the game is on FSW. However, the Time Warner Carlsbad online listing has some stupid high school game on after the Georgia Tech game. However, the same online listing shows the Cal game will be televised on Prime--channel 71 so who knows?? Always tough to find coverage of California football games here in the state of California, errr, Northern Baja! I'll at least do the gametracker route while trying to get the online radio play by play. At least the Aztecs game appears to be televised on channel 4 at 5:00. GO BEARS!!

Thank god we're playing Colorado. Not only do I get the game in the midwest, it's in HD. And next week's game is ESPN2, so of course that will be available in HD as well. When was the last time Cal was nationally televised in HD in back-to-back games? (I know the FSN broadcast might not be available everywhere in HD... still).

Thanks to all. Up here in the woods of the far Northeast, I need as many channel possibilities as I can get. The sports bars aren't very interested in Cal and I have their attention for just a bit before some Appalachian State guy comes in!

Cox Cable in the South Bay is actually listing the game on channel 29.
One big Pac10 problem evident tomorrow. The Big 10 and Big12 delaying their big game starts to directly compete with the normal Pac10 starts. At the same time as the Cal game will be Miami @ Ohio State, Michigan @ Notre Dame and Florida State @ Oklahoma. That kind of TV competition is sure to 'tank' Pac 10 ratings and lower the value of the next Pac10 TV deal.

Should I record 696 or 697 on DirecTV -- are both channels going to be in HD?
