Since it wasn't an ESPN Game Day we got the consolation prize - Rebecca Haarlow. Not bad. I think EA would have been nicer but Haarlow was OK.

I'm partial to Haarlow. Full disclosure: I worked with her for the last few years with The Blazers and still consider her a good friend. She has many wonderful qualities in addition to how she looks. I should probably leave this thread now.

Rebecca Harlow is horrible!! She does her job like a stupid bimbo;wiggling like she got ants in her pants. Erin Andrews knows her stuff and asks good questions. Can you tell I can't stand her?:skep:

Stupid bimbo... NO. She has a degree from Princeton. Like her or not, she ain't stupid. Damnit! I should've left this thread alone like I said I was going to.

I thought Haarlow was informative, believable and cute but did not look overly slutty like some of the other sideline reporters I've seen who tend to wear business attire which appears to have been applied by a paint spray gun.
Plus I don't have to think of Haarlow as a florida dance team member/communications major who made a noisy denouncement of nude pics which surfaced of her on the internet then integrated the publicity she helped create into a gig on a broadcast reality show that paid her a bunch of money and pretended she was someone of importance.

Too late. Harlow acts like a bimbo; constantly flirting:bluecarrot: with camera in a ridiculous manner. My 7 years old daughter could ask more intriguing questions. You can be stupid and incompetent when it comes to performing a job; and go to Princeton, btw! She was an athlete; therefore, did not enter the Ivy League purely on academics. It's an insult to Erin Andrews, who is the very talented and accomplished to even compare the two. I'll give you one thing, she's easy on the eyes;it's too bad she detracts from the quality of the telecast. She has a degree in US History with an emphasis on the Civil War, so you know Rebecca is a "Super Brain."

Has Erin Andrews ever worked the sideline at a Cal home game? Seems like EA only gets sent to games/schools that ESPN and ABC deem "marquee", and we just aren't in that preferential circle.
The answer is to find substitutes. Rebecca Haarlow is hot, does her job servicably well and doesn't have the baggage of EA. I deem her EA Replacement #1 for Cal fans.

I seem to recall her being at some football games as well. Oregon '06 or Tennessee '07?

Both are eye candy compared in general to our cheerleaders once again. My wife even pointed out that the moron cameraperson (politically correct) focused on one of our least attractive cheerleaders when an actual cute cheerleader was in the background (within a couple feet and a few degrees from the camera angle). I guess we will continue to blame the cameraperson.

Oh, and I'll go ahead and say it:
They should just do the reports in Bikinis. There is only one reason that young cute female sideline reporters have become the norm, and it aint because they ask good questions.
