MiZery;685914 said:

Maybe this guy heard correctly... but a couple of years ago..

I believe he was the fall guy simply because it was his idea; and that the powers above JT compelled him to finally address it publicly.

No way in hell someone with any character has this pinned on them, at least for any meaningful duration of time. You leave as soon as possible, and there have been opportunities...

If indeed there was a rift between JT and Tosh, I'd guess it was Tosh's doing, just by virtue of JT's other healthy, sound, and lasting relationships. JT, and we all know this, is loyal, and to a fault some would argue, by keeping some coaches longer than what he should have...

JT can and will be criticized, like all HC's, and that won't change. But the man is full of integrity and it shows in his many actions over the years. He is true to the game and respects it. He doesn't have web pages expounding his virtues, he simply lives them as evidenced by his conduct.

Tosh's actions are to the contrary, despicable and not refutable. Leave, and for a more money and / or a perceived better path for advancement, and none of "this" happens. Actually, when the news first broke, there was no negative sentiment toward Tosh, but toward JT, Sandy, and the administration... We understood, or at least we thought we did at the time and were sad and upset to see him leave.

With what is now known, how he conducted himself, he deserves the wrath.
