Just thought I would share my "Cal Man Room" with everyone at the Bear Insider. It has taken me a while to get the room to where it is today and I hope that you all appreciate it. Some of the items in the room are listed below:

Signed Helmets: Lynch, Arrington, Tony Gonzalez, Wesley Walker, Craig Morton, Chuck Muncie, Best, Jackson, Rodgers, Vince Ferragamo and 2010 team signed helmet.

5 full size helmets from different eras.

Signed Photos: Jackson, Deltha O'Neil, Desmond Bishop, Zack Follett, Forsett, Arrington, Boller and Craig Morton.

1950 Beer glass from the Rose Bowl when we played Michigan
1932 Matchbook with schedule and cost of game/s. $4 for season tickets!!!
1940's megaphone given away by Roos Bros department stores located in SF
1923 San Francisco Chronicle article on the announcement of marriage by Brick Muller to a Piedmont girl.

Looks pretty cool. I like to "mean" Oski statue in the first pic. What's the story with that? I've been a Cal since I started attending in '79, and have always thought I'd like to see an Oski upgrade to be a little tougher.

On the one hand I like the tradition, but on the other, he really looks like a dork. He does seem to play well with the kids though, which is a positive.

Well, I still have my Freshman Beanie, given to all 1962 Freshmen. So there!

They think I have devoted alot of space (a corner bookshelf in the dining room) to my Cal football stuff..but you did real good! Love the "man room" title. I have some of the same things - treasured items like old schedules, autographed programs/footballs, the same megaphone, signed footballs, pennants, drinking glasses, pinbacks, ashtray from the "Golden Bear Motel" on San Pablo, Tedford and Oski bobbleheads..etc etc..Ebay loves me! Your first post? Where have you been? :cheer

This, my friends, is one sturdy Golden Bear. One room like this has greater legitimacy than 50,000 posts on this site. He speaks softly, but carries a big C. I'm sure I'm not the only Cal fan who appreciates this.

This display kicks ass to any Cal shrine on campus, even the one at Haas.
It should be on loan to the new CMS.

Agreed. The school needs a more unified image. It is a serious problem that many people do not know that Cal means UC Berkeley. The school needs a cohesive identity, which probably largely comes down to marketing and branding. I've noticed that USC has one license plate frame. When you see it from afar, you know it's an SC plate. Cal has hundreds of different styles of license plate frames. That's cool in it's own right, but I think a lot can be said about having a distinct style that is instantly identifiable. Someone mentioned Cal possibly having one designated hat for recruits to use when they are making their decision. I think that's a great idea. We should unify and crystalize our brand to create a tighter, more cohesive identity.

I don't think you could do any better. Very impressive.

I hope you're married b/c if you brought a lady home for the first time, I think she might run the other way after a look at that room. Of course, maybe that's the ultimate test to see if she's the one.

Crimson - Yes, I am married, but she knew the deal before she said yes. In the process of brainwashing my 10 and 5 year old into attending Cal. For my daughter's 10th birthday, she wanted to take friends to Berkeley, walk around the campus, get a Top Dog and enjoy Telegraph Ave. Much better then Chuck E Cheese.

OskiRules - All those bottles on the shelf are single malt Scotch. Helps to ease the pain and frustration of Cal football.
